Beijing—ICAMA's contracted project of MOA Supervision and Inspection Center for Pesticide Quality & Safety received the completion acceptance. Director Zeng Qing of Bureau of Quality & Safety Supervision for Ago-products, MOA attended the approval meeting and paid a visit to the labs.
 
 
MOA's Bureau of Quality & Safety Supervision for Ago-products organized an expert panel to conduct the completion acceptance check for the Project on July 17th, 2012. Composed of experts on instruments and equipments, project management and infrastructure finance, etc., the panel reviewed the final report, inspected the construction site, examined the instrument purchase files and other relevant financial documents, and checked all instrument items. Upon query and full discussion, the Panel reached the consensus that the Project was completed in line with the approved project plan, the instruments and equipments are well allocated and functioned to achieve anticipated goals, the management and use of project fund was in compliance with agro-infrastructure financial regulations and other relevant financial rules, and the project files are complete and documented by category as required. It was agreed that the Project is qualified to receive the completion acceptance.
 
 
The successful completion of the Project will largely increase ICAMA' s testing capacity to 406 items and 30,000 samples per year, and significantly facilitate pesticide safety monitoring, nation-level pesticide research, emergency response to pesticide safety incidents, as well as pesticide environment risk early warning.
Deputy-Director General Wei Qiwen of ICAMA and other concerning staff from Divisions of Plan & Finance, Pesticide Residue, Environment and Administration also participated in the above activities.
